The Hartnackschule, being one of the biggest language schools in Berlin, arranges the following certifications in "Deutsch als Fremdsprache":

Elementary Level I /A 1, Elementary Level II/A 2, Intermediate Level I/B 2, Intermediate Level II/C 1 and Advanced Level/C 2

Tests take place once a month on saturday between 8 am and 1 pm. Time for applications ends wednesdays at 19:00 before the day of examination. Examinations parts may be repeated up to three times in three months. Examination fees are EUR 45.00 for the Elementary Level and Intermediate Level. C 1 and C 2 oral examinations are obligatory and need to be done before the written examinations. In B 2 the obligatory oral examination takes place a few days after the written examination.

Hartnackschule Berlin is a TELC Examination Centre and arranges regularly B 1 examinations (European Language Certificate/Certificate German).
European language certificates are a system of language examinations, adapteded to the references of the Council of Europe for learning languages. At different levels different skills are required. The examinations are organized and analyzed the same way Europe-wide.
The examination fee is 69 €.
Every examination day there will be exercised special grading tests for futur students of Berlinīs universities. These tests prove your qualification (Intermediate I or II) and enable you to do the DSH. The tests cost EU 31.00.
